Complete Hospital Care Including Ambulance and Emergency Services
(Rear View)

Our Current Medical Clinic

As part of Samaritan Village, we currently operate a 24-hour medical clinic that offers essential healthcare services to these groups. Our clinic provides care based on patients’ ability to pay, with no cost to orphaned children. Our mission is to ensure that no child or family is denied access to necessary medical care due to financial constraints.

Although we have been able to offer services such as treatment for minor injuries, vaccinations, prenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery and pharmacy access, we are limited by the scope of our offerings. After five years of operating the clinic, it has become clear that there is a growing need for more comprehensive healthcare services, particularly inpatient care. As a result, we have established a long-term goal to build a hospital that can meet these needs.

The expansion of our current clinic into a full hospital will allow us to:

    •    Provide more comprehensive healthcare, including emergency services, surgical capabilities, and advanced diagnostics.

    •    Expand our capacity to care for orphans and other children who currently suffer due to a lack of health insurance and access to adequate     medical care.

    •    Significantly improve maternal healthcare services, helping reduce the mortality rates of mothers and infants during childbirth.

    •    Minimize the risks associated with external hospital referrals, which are often unaffordable or inaccessible to the poorest members of our community.

Our immediate goal is to complete the first phase of this project, which includes constructing a three-story hospital building and a parking lot at an estimated cost of $280,000. This initial phase will allow us to finish and equip the ground floor for hospital services while the top two floors will be completed in the future as additional funding becomes available.

In addition to serving the orphans and the poor, we plan to sustain the hospital’s operations by partnering with local businesses to offer exclusive healthcare services to their employees. We have already secured a contract with a small company in Arusha for limited services at our clinic, and we believe this model will help fund the future operations of the hospital.

We believe that this project will transform healthcare access for the poor and orphaned children in our community, providing a long-term solution to the healthcare inequalities that currently exist. We respectfully ask for your support and consideration of this project. Any contribution you can make will have a profound impact on the lives of countless children and families in need.
